Here’s another band who was banned from playing a concert (in their hometown, no less) because their name was considered offensive, performing soon after on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, circa 1993 (with La Bamba on trombone.)
And I would put this high in the running for the greatest Late Night performance ever.
