I always think it’s interesting to see how mass-media hysteria makes its way into the consciousness of kids. While reading this article, The Top 10 Most Absurd Time Covers of The Past 40 Years, I now realize why “crack baby” was such a popular insult when I was in elementary school. I’m glad this article didn’t highlight one of Time’s 100+ covers on how kids have too much homework, because that’s just plain true.
