Once again, we’re Justinblogging — here’s Nickelodeon’s embarassment of a new brand. Uninspired and uninteresting, Viacom’s shelving what was an incredibly iconic and, more importantly, flexible branding system for something busted. Shortening it to “Nick” isn’t going to look any good either. (Fast Company)
The splat logo said everything about Nickelodeon. When they say, “[The old logo] just couldn’t be done in a streamlined way,” I say, yeah, exactly. That was what made it so good.
